Comma Separated Values (CSV) files may be saved in a MySQL database, Excel Files in a PostgreSQL database, SAS files in a Microsoft SQL Server database, Stata files in an Oracle database, and text delimited files in an DB2 database. Users are able to configure interactive features to set up a workflow. This platform is customizable and allows users to create and modify algorithms for statistical analysis, explore data graphically in an interactive environment, perform calculations, and analyze results. This technology includes functionalities for estimation, forecasting, simulation, visualization, and other analysis tasks. The GAUSS Platform is a complete analysis environment for mathematical modeling and statistical analysis.
